MORE than 50 businesses, organisations and individuals have been named as finalists in the fourth Hyndburn Business Awards. The fabulous ballroom at Accrington Town Hall will be packed on Tuesday June 18 for the awards’ ceremony. Chair of organisers Enterprising People Rob Carder said: “The people of Hyndburn have been incredibly supportive of the awards and this year we received the highest ever number of nominations. The judging panel had a difficult job to do because the quality of the entries received was very high and so some categories have up to six finalists.”
The Accrington Observer sponsored category the Evonne Harwood Event of the Year is being judged by an online vote on the Hyndburn Business Awards Facebook page and voting ends on Tuesday May 21. All businesses that enter qualify for the Beacon Award, a bespoke glass trophy given to the most inspirational business and the nominees are only announced on the night.
